I loved this interview! I inherited an unused ice cream machine that was gifted to my in-laws. My motto with single-purpose appliances is: they must be put to use! As an Ohioan myself, I started with Jeni Britton-Bauers books. I am finding the differences between homemade, professional, and store-bought ice creams very interesting. My biggest issue so far has been exercising enough restraint for my husband to get a taste of whatever I’ve made. I haven’t yet attempted an ice cream cake but that must be next on the list! And on that note, thank you for the thoughts on storage and to bring ice cream to friends.
Thanks for taking the time to chat with me about ice cream Nik!
This was a lot of fun and I hope we get to do it again, David.

It's a must-have for any ice cream lover!

I love Jeni and her books, I use her cream cheese ice cream making method often. Have you considered the Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Lock? https://www.coolshityoucanbuy.com/2012/05/ben-jerry-euphori-lock_18.html
Ahahaha this is amazing. This is America, isn’t it?
HAHA, I saw it on an Instagram.
